当代西方发达国家青年的一个显著特点是:较以前更崇尚实用主义,注重自身的享受,美日法三国青年对职业的选择就充分表现了这一点。日本青年现今日本青年被人称为“崇尚享乐的一代”,游戏人生,得过且过的人生观在青年中逐渐流行。70年代,日本青年大都愿意从事“有社会责任性的工作”。到了80年代初,这种择业标准不再流行,青年人更中意那些能“提高自身能力”或“稳定性强”的职业。70年代青年人理想的生活方式是:进入可以终身依靠的企业或机关,勤勉工作,以求得职业上的成功和较高的社会地位。时至今日,一种与日本精神完全背道而驰的就业标准在青年中悄悄出现。不少年轻人对进入公司毫无兴趣,他们厌恶传统、僵化的终身职业制,厌恶安定、刻板、无聊
One of the notable features of the youth in the contemporary western developed countries is that they are more pragmatic and self-conscious than before, and the choice of careers for the young people in the United States, Japan and France fully demonstrates this. Japanese youth Japanese youth today is known as the “advocate of pleasure generation”, the game of life, the concept of life and too popular among young people. In the 1970s, most Japanese youth were willing to engage in “socially responsible work.” By the early 1980s, such occupational standards were no longer popular, and young people were more interested in careers that “improved their own ability” or “stabilized.” The ideal way of life for young people in the 1970s is to enter into a business or institution that can rely on for life and to work diligently in order to achieve career success and higher social status. To date, an employment standard that runs completely counter to the spirit of Japan has quietly appeared in young people. Many young people have no interest in entering the company. They hate the traditional and rigid system of tenured occupations, dislike stability, stereotypes and boring
