Among 105 blood-positive typhoid children, 13 cases were detected with simple L-type infection and 25 cases with purely type B infection (the remaining 67 cases were L and B mixed infection). There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of age, number of fever days before hospitalization, days of body temperature ≥39 ℃ (P> 0.05)
