1927年,徐悲鸿从巴黎回到祖国。他不愿为蒋介石政权效劳而飞黄腾达,于是,便来到上海,同田汉、欧阳予倩等人,共同创办了南国艺术学院,进行现实主义的文化革新运动。
In 1927, Xu Beihong returned from Paris to the motherland. He did not want to serve the Chiang Kai-shek regime and made a fantastic journey. So he went to Shanghai, together with Tian Han and Ouyang Yuqian and co-founded the Southern Art Institute to carry out a realist cultural reform movement.
