In July 2012, CTR conducted a large sample audience survey in ten central cities including Beijing and Shanghai. Based on a random sample of 2523 samples from 20-59-year-olds, CTR focused on the CCTV gold columns (including “News Network” , “Focus Interview” and “Weather Forecast”) conducted surveys on the viewing habits, brand values and social influence of people, and also investigated the attitudes and comments on the coverage of major CCTV events.
