一九七三年,我厂在学习外地先进经验的基础上,试制成功一台二氧化碳气体保护焊机,并将这一焊接新工艺应用到修造船上。但由于本区无二氧化碳气体供应,生产上使用时需向外省市购买。这样,不仅长途运输时间长,成本高,而且供应如不及时,还会影响生产。我厂船体车间工人,在工业学大庆精神的鼓舞下,通过向外厂学习,又制成了二氧化碳气体发生器。
