Additive manufacturing (AM) is an attractive technology which is different from conventional manufacturing and it has the potential to revolutionize the way of designing and manufacturing. This technology has triggered great interests in many industrial sectors, especialy aerospace industry.This article provides a review of its aerospace application and related development. The benefits and chalenges to additive manufacturing adoption in aerospace are discussed.
