当代海地艺术:私人收藏与公共财产

总体而言,海地艺术问题不是海地政府面临的首要任务或重大挑战,因此缺乏相应的机构支持和统一政策。但是海地已经摆脱殖民时代的困境,尤其是1939—1940年的“原住民族运动”(Indigenist Movement)已经使艺术成为联结海地人与其多姿文化的纽带。这一过程中,私有部门发挥了重要作用。

In general, the issue of art in Haiti is not the primary task or major challenge for the Haitian government and therefore lacks corresponding institutional support and unification policies. But Haiti has freed itself from the colonial era, and in particular the 1939-1940 Indigenist Movement has made art a link between Haitians and their diverse cultures. The private sector has played an important role in this process.
