From 1962 to 1964, a group of sociologists such as Alex Inacles of the United States conducted a large-scale field study of modern humans in six developing countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America survey. Ten years later, Inchles, in partnership with David Smith, published a research report on the survey - “Towards modernization: a personal shift in six developing countries.” Since its publication, the book has aroused great repercussions among the international community of scholars. In 1983, at the invitation of the Chinese Society of Sociology, Professor Incell came to China to give lectures in person and came out with his own personal point of view. This has even aroused strong interest in the modernization of mankind in our intellectual community and prompted us to understand the concept of modernization from a broader perspective Rich meaning. I do not guess humble, this outlines “to modernization,” a book after reading, in order to teach readers.
