小学阶段几何图形的教学,是按照点、线、面、体的顺序逐步深入安排的,而从学习长度到学习面积,对小学生来说是空间形式认识发展上的一次飞跃。“面积”的概念是学生学习几何形体的基础,它又不像长度一样可以通过直接测量得到结果,相对而言比较抽象,这就需要加强直观演示、具体操作等实践活动的开展。为帮助学生实现这一飞跃,完成面积概念的意义建构,我在自己的实际教学中更加注重学生的活动探究引导,让学生在具体生动的情境中感悟和理解这一概念学习的重要性和必要性。
