The famous American literary critic Edmund Wilson in his important book “Castle of Axel” has a far-reaching influence on the study of modernist literature in the history of Western literary criticism in the twentieth century. His wonderful analysis and portrait of modernist literature Introduction, so that the first time readers in the United States to understand and begin to focus on modernism is an important literary genre, but his ambiguous attitude toward modernism also led to a lot of criticism.
