“讴歌伟大时代,艺术奉献人民”——2012年全国优秀剧目展演,是继2009年国庆60周年献礼演出活动之后的又一次重大展演活动。本次展演从8月持续到10月,历时近三个月,共计演出剧目119台,其中戏曲剧目共50台,包括现代戏30台、新编历史剧13台、传统戏7台。现代戏剧目展演占整个戏曲展演剧目的60%,而且出现了许多非常优秀的作品,突出表现了近年来我国现代戏创作所取得的骄人成绩。众多优秀剧目的创演不仅丰富了戏曲演出剧目,积累了创作经验,同时也推动了戏曲艺术的发展。主要表现在:现代生活题材的广泛涉及,民族精神的大力弘扬,新时代人物形象的着力塑造,以及表演手段的不断丰富等方面。
