将AACR2(英──美编目条例第二版)译成电码只取得了很小的进展。
There has been very little progress in translating the AACR2 (British-American Cataloging Regulations, second edition) into a code. The first three AACR2 conversion scenarios were: (1) compilation of a simple ASCII file; (2) compilation of AACR2 in machine readable form; and (3) use of SGML. People have decided to use SGML to build a machine-readable version of AACR2. In the process of compiling AACR2-e, the authenticity of the original text is maintained based on the following basic principles: (1) maintaining the integrity of the original text; (2) being able to be revised without the need for repeated readjustment and verification; (3) accurate (4) derive a printed version; (5) Have a database structure that establishes an online version through computer programming to promote the connection of related products; (6) Maintain the order of the ordinances and contact.
