插图是学习型词典中的一个重要组成部分,对于学习者理解词义也有一定辅助作用,但目前对于学习型词典插图的研究却较为缺乏。本研究通过对两本中英学习型词典《商务馆学汉语词典》和《朗文当代高级英语辞典(第4版)》插图使用情况的定量统计和定性分析,比较了两者在数量、组成、颜色、内容、位置、类别、功能、词类范畴等方面的异同,探讨了《商务馆学汉语词典》在插图设置上的长处与不足,并对今后对外汉语学习型词典的插图编纂提出了一些建议。
Illustrations are an important part of a learning dictionary, which helps learners to understand the meaning of lexicon. However, there is a lack of research on lexicon in learning at present. In this study, quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis of the usage of illustrations in two Chinese-English learning dictionary, “Business Hall Chinese Dictionary” and “Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English Dictionaries (4th Edition)” were compared in terms of quantity, composition , Color, content, location, category, function, part of speech and other aspects of the similarities and differences, discussed the “Commercial Library Learning Chinese Dictionary” in the illustrations of the set of strengths and weaknesses, and the future of Chinese-learning dictionary illustrated compilation put forward some Suggest.
