On May 23, the exhibition curatorial committee organized the “Kanto School Chinese Painting Portrait Painting Exhibition Realism Symposium” at the reception hall of the Third Military Command of the CMC. The seminar was presided over by Wang Zhong, chief editor of Fine Arts magazine of China Artists Association. The experts from the capital’s art and art theory circles and the artists from Lao Zhongqing who came to Beijing to participate in the Kanto Painting Chinese Figure Painting Exhibition and the representatives from the “Yellow Earth Painting School” of Shaanxi Province attended the seminar.
