SONOS process gas analyzer is the use of new measurement principle of continuous operation of analytical instruments. Acoustic vibrations occur when gas flows through the jet element, and the frequency of vibration is proportional to the speed of sound of the gas mixture. There is a single relationship between changes in concentration and changes in frequency, from which the concentration of gas components can be calculated. The measuring principle has been applied for by the German Karlsruhe Nuclear Research Center for this invention
