本文作者是美国纽约锡拉丘兹资料和科学研究中心主任,锡拉丘兹大学教育学教授。1976年1月9日,国际标准化组织在法国斯特拉斯堡召开国际视听资料会议,作者应邀为这次会议写了这篇论文,探讨视听术语及其定义的现状。作者从各个方面论证了统一视听术语及其定义的重要性、标准和步骤,说明国际上已普遍重视这一工作。目前我国也已开始这方面的研究,所以特将此文摘译发表。
The writer is director of the Syracuse Research Center for Materials and Science in New York, USA, and professor of education at Syracuse University. January 9, 1976, the International Organization for Standardization held an international audio-visual materials conference in Strasbourg, France, the author was invited to write this paper for this meeting to discuss the current status of audio-visual terms and their definitions. The author demonstrates from all aspects the importance, standards and steps of the unified audio-visual terminology and its definition, which shows that this work has been universally valued in the world. At present, our country has also started research in this area, so I will publish this abstract translation.
