铜甗通高33厘米,口径28厘米,鬲部高21厘米。甑鬲合体,内无箅。通体素面,器锈斑驳。甗口残损较重,为外折沿,沿下有二道较细的凸弦纹。鬲部为三袋足,实足尖,外撇(图一)。此器原出山东黄县(今龙口市),系1958年深翻土地出土,后蓬莱、黄县合县,因入藏蓬莱县文物管理所。铜甗是青铜时代的重要炊器,历来出土颇多。但此甗的形制与通常所见者相比,十分特别。一般铜甗的鬲足部分,都有较长的实足,而这件铜甗却是袋足,其形如乳。这种形制在铜器中极为罕有,但在陶甗中却十分习见。山东岳石文化遗址中,出土过大量陶甗,甗足全为乳形袋足,内中又分空足和带实足尖的两种。带实足尖的多是经过精工轮制,足尖呈蘑菇形。如山东牟平照格庄遗址
