It is indispensable to study art, timely and extensive academic exchange. Art newspapers and magazines, of course, can circulate academic information, but researchers face to face academic exchange is the best way to communicate. In this regard, Harvard University did a great job. A New England East Asian Art History Seminar Held by Fairbank East Asia Research Center, Harvard University, once a month. Oriental art historians from all over the world and from American universities are invited to give lectures. To some extent, these topics reflect some new topics and new trends in the study of oriental art history in Europe and the United States. For example, due to differences in ideology, some American scholars who study contemporary Chinese art pay more attention to the political connotations in Chinese fine arts. Dr. Ann Yale of Ohio University published last year’s “Chinese Artists and Politics from 1949 to 1979”. A speech by Alfred Miguel of Princeton University in New England’s East Asian Art History in September this year is: “The Political Meaning of Fruits and Vegetables in Chinese Painting,” in October her speech was: “There are dissenting views The expression? ”This American scholar has done many years of research work at the National Palace Museum in Taiwan. Lectures on Art History in New England East Asia This November’s topic is: “The Rise of Modern Chinese Fine Art,” “Modern China’s Concept of Folk Art.” The December speech was: “Chinese artists in the Cultural Revolution.” The impact of different ideologies on academic research is evident.
