夹皮沟金矿集中区涉及高级变质区、花岗岩 -绿岩带、色洛河群三个赋金矿地质单元。在高级变质区太古宙会全栈穹形隆起北缘 (地台边缘 )的线性构造扩张作用下 ,产生裂谷型绿岩带。在穹形隆起 (地台边缘 )长期垂直上升 ,边缘 (裂谷外侧 )长期垂直下沉的正剪切应力作用下 ,绿岩地体中产生剪切带及其金矿。TTG花岗岩和钾质花岗岩兜底绿岩地体侵位 ,绿岩残留体及其漂浮褶曲构造产生。元古宙正剪切应力继承作用 ,产生了与裂谷型绿岩带平行的主剪切带及其金矿。古生代受西伯利亚板块碰撞挤压 ,中生代受太平洋板块俯冲作用 ,分别产生了南北向、北东向等剪切带及其金矿。绿岩带内构造控矿最明显 ,远离者较差。
