春意渐浓,这是苏州国际博览中心总经理陈刚对于苏州会展业现状的描述。作为苏州会展业的龙头企业,苏州国际博览中心既是苏州最主要的办展场馆,也拥有着苏州最专业的会展人才。“我们今年的展览计划已经排到了年底,办展的总面积有望突破60万平方米。”从2007年的38万平方米到2008年的60万平方米,展览面积的增幅接近60%。陈刚告诉记者,对于会展业的发展来说,展览面积是一个非常有价值的考量数据,上规模的展览才有可能是有质量的展览。“今年的增量特别大,这从一个侧面反映出苏州会展环境的逐步成熟,反映出会展产业的成长。”
