西方的外语教学可以追溯到公元前,因为15世纪以前的欧洲,拉丁语具有重要地位,它是日常交际、教育、商务和政府的通用语言,人们需要学习拉丁语进行沟通。
Western foreign language teaching dates back to BC because Latin was a prominent place in Europe before the 15th century. It was a common language for everyday communication, education, business and government. People needed to learn Latin to communicate.
