机械能一章是高中物理的重点章节,同时也是难点,大部分学生学到这一章都感觉很吃力。而本章的重力势能一节更是抽象,重力势能是一个重要的概念,同时又是一个比较难懂而且抽象的概念。它和功相比,功是过程量,多少有点感性认识,对学生来说,掌握这个概念又是一个难点,如何使学生理解重力势能的概念,笔者在教学中通过演示实验和日常的经验事例,使学生初步认识重力势能的概念,同时把重力势能与温度进行类比,对这节课的教学进行了初步探索。
