Sinister, deceitful, fierce, cruel ... ... these creepy words may be people’s Empress Dowager Cixi’s image of the habitual interpretation. The name Ci Xi is like a gloomy ghost, casting an indelible shadow on the modern history of China. These historical facts have sweeping views in the films “The Summer Palace” and “Vertical curtain”. However, the film “The Empress Dowager” jointly produced by Changchun Film Studio and Hong Kong Chang Shun Films Company shows the other side of the image of Empress - “human desires.” Specifically, the “human desire” of Empress Dowager Cixi in the film is nothing more than an expression of “eroticism” or “sexual desire.” The purpose of the director is to create an image of the Empress who is both a politician, a conspirator, and a woman; both “animal”, “wild” and “human”. The film not only repeated Empress of “human desire” but also made elaborate arrangements for the expression of “human desire”. Please read: When Empress picked up the banned Eunuch album from Andehai, it was first rage and then immediately turned into some unspeakable confusion. Obviously, it is not the intention of the film to refer to the Prince of Taichung as the “Spring Palace Picture Book”, but rather to reveal the painful and arousing touch of Empress “Locke Palace”: the “naked figure” The close-up, apparently not a curiosity of the footnote, no doubt Empress “desire”, the intention of venting. In order to enjoy the “human desires” of Cixi’s innermost heart, she is led by romantic imaginations and montage skills. She uses such typical portraits as poem, piano, laughter, beauty and swing
