蓖麻蚕(Philosamia cynthia ricini Boisduval)原是纯多化性昆虫。我们研究的连续三代定向驯化法,可将这种纯多化性的蓖麻蚕改变成为以蛹态兼休眠能越冬的新类型。为了探索环境因子诱发蓖麻蚕休眠的规律,给生产上控制化性提供依据,从1964—1979年以驯化型蓖麻蚕为主要材料,较系统地研究了环境因子(温、光、湿)作用于蚕的各发育阶段(卵、稚蚕、壮蚕、前嫩蛹期)与休眠的关系。本文就此加以总结和探讨。
Philosamia cynthia ricini Boisduval is a purely polygamous insect.
