甘薯是高产作物,增产潜力大,我们在抓好水稻生产的同时,努力改进甘薯生产技术,获得连年大面积丰收。1970～1975年,六年平均早薯单产8260斤,比1966年6745斤增产22.4%;晚薯单产3865斤,比1966年2250斤增产71.7%。1976年早薯面积93亩,平均单产8140斤,比1975年增产3.1%;晚薯面积129亩,单产4070斤,比1975年增产16.3%。其中早薯丰产田40亩,单产10,800斤。1977年早薯面积75亩,单产8350斤,其中丰产田10亩,单产13,000斤。晚薯110亩,单产5600斤。在甘薯生产上,狠抓了以下几条措施:
Sweet potato is a high-yielding crop, with great potential for increasing yield. While we do a good job in rice production, we work hard to improve the production technology of sweet potato and achieve large area harvest in successive years. From 1970 to 1975, the average yield of early sweet potato was 8260 kg in six years, an increase of 22.4% over that of 6745 kg in 1966; the yield of late potato was 3865 kg, an increase of 71.7% over 2,250 kg in 1966. In 1976, the area of early potato reached 93 mu, with an average yield of 8140 kg, an increase of 3.1% over 1975. The area of late potato reached 129 mu with a yield of 4070 kg, an increase of 16.3% over 1975. Among them, 40 mu of early potato rich cropland yields 10,800 kg. Early 1977, an area of 75 acres of potato, yield 8350 pounds, of which 10 acres of high yield, yield 13,000 pounds. 110 acres of potato, yield 5600 pounds. In sweet potato production, pay close attention to the following measures:
