Onuf’s nucleus (ON) is a nucleus located in the anterior horn of the lumbosacral segment of human, primate and mammalian spinal cord. The predecessor’s work initially affirmed the importance of ON in excretion and sexual activity. But in the past, the research of ON was mostly limited to observation of the cell body and proximal protuberance, and the understanding of the morphology and function of ON was not enough. In recent years, the application of enzyme-labeled ligand technology and the discovery of suspected Golgi dendrites (GBD) has shaken the previous understanding of some functions of the central nervous system, and a new hypothesis came into being. To date, no one has applied enzyme-labeled ligand technology to the study of ON, nor has anyone been involved in the study of the ON of tree shrews (a kind of primate). The aim of this study was to use highly sensitive enzyme standards
