Relaxin (RL) is a peptide hormone with a molecular weight of 6 Kd, which is mainly secreted by pregnant corpus luteum and closely related to local reproductive regulation. During the menstrual cycle and pregnancy, the extra-cellular matrix (ECM) of the female reproductive organs undergoes regular changes under the regulation of endocrine and other factors.
