儿童英语教学近十年在全国范围内开展得红红火火,以至于人们达成一种共识,即英语要从娃娃抓起。再加上高考制度“3+X”局面的形成,望子成龙、望女成凤的家长们不遗余力地给孩子们找好学校、好老师,误认为英语好的人就能教好英语。儿童英语教学既是一门科学,又是一门艺术,要想教好儿童英语,教师不仅应具有扎实的英语专业基础知识和应用英语的能力,尤其是英语听说水平和发音,还必须学习英语教育学、学前教育学和儿童心理学等理论,以提高自身的教学能力。其中最重要的因素,就是如何激发和巩固孩子对学习英语的兴趣。
Children’s English teaching has been booming throughout the country for nearly a decade, so that people have reached a consensus that English should start with the baby. Coupled with the entrance examination system “3 + X ” the situation of the formation, the best of the best, the hopeful parents to spare no effort to find good schools for children, good teachers, mistaken for good English people will be able to teach English. Children’s English teaching is both a science and an art. To teach children English well, teachers should not only have a solid basic knowledge of English majors and the ability to use English, especially English listening and speaking, pronunciation, but also English Pedagogy, pre-school pedagogy and psychology of children to improve their teaching abilities. One of the most important factors is how to stimulate and consolidate children’s interest in learning English.
