有人说,美国是天堂,河山大好,人民自由奔放;也有人说,美国是地狱,纸醉金迷,国人傲慢懒散。这些“传说”对于当时刚刚踏足美国的我来说,其实还有些遥远,即使是四年以后的今天,我也无法确切地跟别人描绘,究竟什么才是真正的美国。这是我生活了四年的地方,是我梦想和奋斗的地方,有笑有泪更有乡愁。飞机刚刚降落在大学城机场的时候,已经是深夜十二点了。中国留学生会的学长从机场将我接回到学校的临时宿舍。因为转机时托运的行李滞留在了纽约机场,我当时一身轻松,只背了一个电脑
Some people say that the United States is a paradise, great rivers and mountains, and the people are free and unrestrained. Some people also say that the United States is hellish and has a lot of money and people are lazy and arrogant. These “legends ” are actually far away from me who just set foot in the United States at that time. Even today, four years later, I can not exactly tell others what exactly is the real United States.
