工程项目管理具有丰富的内涵。狭义的工程项目管理是在限定“三大目标”内对工程项目进行综合管理以实现项目预定目标,但这只是工程项目施工的管理,随着投资规模、领域的扩大、投资来源多样化、工程项目对环境、经济影响增强,工程项目管理已不限于实施过程,而是扩展到从立项到交付使用维护全过程的管理。
