目前我国烤烟的质量比前几年有了比较明显的提高。中上等烟增加,单叶重提高,青烟大幅度减少,烟碱含量上升,糖分下降,化学成分趋向协调。但与国际上烟叶质量相比,仍有很大差距,主要是颜色偏淡,香气不足,烟碱含量仍较低。如何提高烟叶质量,缩小与国际水平的差距,是当前我国烤烟生产上必须解决的重要课题。国内外的专家认为,采收成熟度不够的烟叶,是阻碍我国烤烟质量提高的关键之一。在1988年全国烟叶生产工作会议上,金茂先副总经理指出,从1987年烤烟生产来看,“不成熟采摘仍然是带有普遍性的严重问题”。因此,烟叶的成熟度问题应当引起足够的重视。下面,
