1989年11月1日,北京市邮政局改变了多年来按收件人地址进行分拣的传统的分拣方式,采用按收件人邮政编码进行分拣的新的作业方法。这一重大改革,不仅提高了分拣质量,减轻了劳动强度,加速了邮件的传递,而且还促进了邮政编码的推行,为早日实现函件分拣机械化奠定了基础。经过几个月的实践,我们认为实行按码分拣有以下4个优点。1.提高了分拣质量。按址分拣差错率最低的月份为32.4‰,而按码分拣的第一个月差错
On November 1, 1989, the Beijing Municipal Post Bureau changed the traditional sorting method for sorting by recipient address over the years, using a new method of sorting by recipient zip code. This major reform not only improved the quality of sorting, reduced labor intensity, accelerated the delivery of mail, but also promoted the implementation of postal code, laying the foundation for the early realization of mechanization of mail sorting.
