江岸车辆段现有12个生产车间(含直属麻城作业场),每个车间设置1个材料分库,分别分布在武汉北、武南、信阳和平顶山、麻城等地。材料科主要职责为:认真贯彻执行党和国家的物资方针、政策和上级物资分配原则,遵守物资纪律,坚持管供、管用、管资金努力做到既保证生产需要,又不积压资金。负责全段物资供应与管理工作。按计划费用做好材料申请供应、管理、统计、核算工作,并监督合理使用。做好清仓利库工作,盘活资产,加速流动资金周转,降低库存定额,保证物资不超储。
