现代教育观认为,让学生自主学习,就是让学生积极主动地学习;让学生自主探究,就是让学生体验科学,亲身经历科学过程,使学生在这些活动中认识和理解科学。随着素质教育的深入开展,实验教学已经成为培养学生动手能力、科学文化素养和创新精神的重要渠道。生物课外实验是中学生物实验的重要组成部分,能让学生充分参与体验,同时也是生物课堂教学的一种有效补充和延伸。但是,由于多种原因,不少教师未能充分重视课外实验的教学,影响了学生对知识的掌握以及学生能力和素质的提高。
