本试验测定了1975年春定植的469株温州蜜柑(尾张)(Citrus un-shiu Marc.)实生树经-9℃人工低温处理后的叶细胞电解质外渗率,并对其中347株的抗寒性进行了初步分析鉴定。测定结果表明,珠心后代和似橙、桔为父本的天然杂种(Ⅱ类)与母本的平均抗寒能力无显著差异,而似柚为父本的天然杂种(I类)则显著低于母本和其它两类卖生后代;实生后代抗寒性的变异幅度均较大,但天然杂种比珠心后代为大;在珠心后代和Ⅱ类天然杂种中各初选出一株比母本更抗寒的单株,其树体性状似尾张,树势强健,但果实某些性状存在不同程度的缺点;同时,还初选出54株较母本抗寒的单株,其中U70401珠心树品质优良,已连续四年当选为优株;另外,U70442珠心树,抗寒性与初选抗寒单株很接近,品质优良,已连续三年当选;抗寒单株的初选入选率,珠心后代和Ⅱ类天然杂种间无显著差异,但都极显著高于I类天然杂种;播种前对种子进行了辐射处理的109株实生树的抗寒性与辐射处理之间看不出显著相关性。
