林州滑翔基地位于太行山东侧。太行山山高海拨1000～1700米,盆地内海拨280米。飞行区域东西宽30公里。南北长150公里。目前已正式开发了三个起飞场,可以适应各种风向的起飞。其中,1号起飞场海拔1210米,2号起飞场1100米,3号起飞场710米。三个起飞场均有公路抵达山顶。山顶还有大型停车场。起飞场平坦开阔,角度适中,小草密布尤如地毯,可以同时起飞20具滑翔伞。
Linzhou gliding base is located in the east side of Taihang. Taihang Mountain high altitude 1000 ~ 1700 meters, 280 meters above sea level in the basin. The flight area is 30 kilometers wide. 150 kilometers long from north to south. At present, three take-off sites have been formally developed to accommodate takeoffs in all wind directions. Among them, No. 1 take-off site at an altitude of 1210 meters, take-off site No. 2 1100 meters, take-off site No. 3 710 meters. The three takeoffs have their own roads to reach the summit. There are large parking lot on the top of the hill. Take-off field is flat and open, the angle is moderate, the grass is rugged like a carpet, can take off 20 paragliding at the same time.
