导读:TFK 采访了演员兼歌手Keke Palmer,采访主要围绕她的新电影《冰川时代:星际碰撞》进行。
14 years past since the original Ice Age film was released in 2002,and the fifth movie in the Ice Age franchise has hit theaters now. Ice Age: Collision Course follows those same beloved mammals that moviegoers have watched grow up. In the Ice Age: Collision Course, Manny has a difficult time learning to accept change as his daughter, Peaches, gets ready to marry and start a life of her own. Peaches is voiced by singer and actress Keke Palmer, 22, who talked to TFK about her role in the film and what change means to her.
TFK:
Could you tell us a little bit about your character, Peaches?
KEKE PALMER:
In this Ice Age, Peaches is getting ready to get married. She’s found someone she loves and wants to start a family with. It’s really hard for her to get the message across to her dad Manny that she wants to start a new life. She wants her father to get the idea that change is coming and he has to accept it, and accept this new form of their relationship.
TFK:
What do you have in common with Peaches?
PALMER: I actually have a lot in common with Peaches. She’s very close with her mother, and I’m close with my mom. I also relate to her nonstop desire to stand on her own two feet, and her ability to be self-reliant.
TFK:
Do you have a favorite moment in the film?
PALMER:
My favorite moment is probably in the end. Ice Age has always been so beloved because it always has so much depth and it’s really nice to look at. It’s so funny to look at the first Ice Age in comparison to the new Ice Age movies because we’ve jumped so much in animation technology. I love that Ice Age sticks in these deep messages but still finds a way to keep it fun for kids.
TFK:
What advice do you have for kids who want to become entertainers?
PALMER:
It’s different for everybody. First, do something in your school, in the nearby community center, or in your neighborhood. If you love acting you can do it anywhere. Even if you start your own acting club, pull scripts from online, have fun with friends, or create the scenario on YouTube. Just figure out creative ways to do what you love.
