我们都知道在西方的绘画艺术中光线的表现是非常重要的,比如说从达芬奇的渐隐法,卡拉瓦乔的酒窖光线法,伦勃朗的明暗法到拉图尔的夜间画等等,从这里可以看出画面中光的运用体现了画面的明暗,外在的环境,有了更好的氛围,同时也体现出画家本身的心境。所以光线是画家在作画时必然考虑到的一个重要因素。中国水彩源于西方绘画艺术,在处理光线的时候也是非常重视的,中国水彩中光线的运用经历了从被误认为中国水墨画没有被重视到现在有着重要地位的慢慢完善的过程。光线的运用造成很强的视觉冲击力,它往往是画面的灵魂,有了光线才有了可感的,有意境的,美的形象。在创作中光线的变幻造成视觉的美感,光线的运用无论是形体塑造,营造气氛,还是在构图方面都有着非常巨大的作用。
