控制篇幅问题,从新方志编修一开始就提出来,在中指组的层面还有过硬性规定,但在实践中,篇幅膨胀问题越来越突出。对志书篇幅如何看待的问题,宜简宜繁,在讨论中各持所见。通过对此方面的研究做一些析论,提出文约事丰是理想的志书境界,讨论志书篇幅问题关键是要不要控制篇幅,何为篇幅适度。控制篇幅应重在内修,即提高编纂者控制志书篇幅的自觉意识和掌控能力。
