何为美术?简单的说,美术就是研究美的艺术。美的艺术应当是包括美的起源,美的发展,美的创造,美的鉴赏等各个方面。艺术设计作为美术里的一个重要的板块,对于它的教学不仅应该注重艺术设计的创造,更应该涵盖艺术设计里的美术文化内涵。然而,由于各种原因,高校对艺术设计专业高等人才的培养偏重于艺术创造,对于美术史论教学或多或少不够重视,导致艺术设计类高等人才普遍出现设计技术过硬,设计作品却缺乏灵魂,没有深度与文化内涵,设计作品鉴赏能力久未大幅提高的局面。美术史论教学应当是高等艺术设计人才教育不可或缺的重要部分,也是艺术设计人才全面发展,长期发展的基础,高校应对艺术设计专业美术史论教育引起足够重视。
