ZigBee技术是先进的自组网无线通信技术,它通信距离适中,同时支持无限扩展,通信节点数量大,不仅之间可以相互通信还可以中转信息,具有可靠性高、造价低的特点。ZigBee低压集抄系统终端依附于智能电表,它的网络拓扑结构的网络具有强大的功能,网络可以通过“多级跳”的方式来通信,不依赖于固定的基础设施,节点开机后就可以快速、自动地组成一个独立的网络、多跳(Multi-hop)路由、动态拓扑。佛山供电局共有3个台区采用ZigBee低压集抄系统进行远程抄表,目前应用情况良好。
