In order to elucidate the relationship between chronic cadmium poisoning and skeletal changes and to try to verify the hypothesis that the combined effects of calcium deficiency and cadmium poisoning cause pain and pain, 40 adult male rats were divided into 8 groups and given different diets (see, Table below). After feeding for 30 days, the rats were killed, subjected to X-ray examination, and muscle and bone were removed to determine the contents of cadmium, calcium, magnesium and zinc.
