Starting from the new century, we will enter a new stage of development in accelerating the socialist modernization drive. The new stage of development must have new ideas and the core is to make strategic adjustments to the economic structure. After nearly two decades of development, the market supply and demand has undergone fundamental changes, but the structural contradictions have become increasingly prominent. At present, the economic development is at an important turning point. Without adjustment, we can not move on from a new starting point. Without adjustment, we can not win the initiative in more intense domestic and international competition. We can not achieve faster and better development without adjustment. Therefore, we must make up our mind to make significant progress in the strategic adjustment of our province’s economic structure through years of hard work. We should speed up the process of industrialization as the focus, vigorously readjust the industrial structure. Our province is still in the initial stage of industrialization in the midst of the transition from an agricultural province to a strong economic province
