上海市电子学会已成立30周年了。在这30年中,作为电子领域中重要支柱之一的通信技术,有了飞速的发展。现代通信的面貌,不论在方式上、设备上、服务上,都有显著的改观。其普遍使用的程度,给人类活动带来的便利,也大大超越过去的情况。现代通信推广了信息系统应用的范围,促进了信息时代的来临,这是30年前所没有想到的。如果把这种进展作简单扼要的归纳,大致可以概括为下列六方面。首先,微电子超大规模集成(VLSI)、电子计算机和处理器(DSP)的飞跃进展,以及它们与通信的密切结合应用,是促使现代通信成功和飞跃进展的主要因素。现在我们大谈数字通信的优越性,大谈脉冲编码调制(PCM)和压缩编码,并大力提倡数字通信替代原
Shanghai Institute of Electronics has 30th anniversary. During these 30 years, communications technology, one of the major pillars in the electronics field, has seen rapid growth. The appearance of modern communications, both in terms of ways, equipment, services, have significant changes. The extent to which it is universally used, the convenience that it brings to human activities, greatly exceeds the past.
