The notion of “Location ” or “Geography ” not only refers to the geographically sympathetic position in the poems of Seymour Haney, but also is a catalyst for stimulating poet novel imagination and philosophical speculation on the issue of Irish cultural heritage , According to which Shinny can see the social and political reality. Simultaneously, in different parts of the world, she expresses poetry. While digging Irishness and arousing the national memory of Ireland, she constantly ponders on the relationship between “territory” and poetry, the status of poetry, and the position of poets and even artists in society. Taking “Digging”, “Torland” and “Stinson Island” as an example, this article explores the “position” concept in the poems of Shini through careful reading of the text to prove that the poets are facing the obligation of social reality Should be neutral when contradicting with the pursuit of self-art, and take the initiative to undertake the poetic responsibility of highlighting the characteristics of literary introspection and literary conscience.
