In order to summarize the national work safety experience, strengthen safety production publicity and communicate the domestic and international safety production information, the Safety Production Bureau of the State Economic and Trade Commission has compiled “China’s Yearbook of Safety Production (1979-1999)”. The Yearbook is the first yearbook compiled by the Production Safety Bureau of the State Economic and Trade Commission after the reform of the State Council and by the department responsible for the overall management of national production safety.
