利用东湖淤泥为主体原料烧结轻质淤泥陶粒,发现添加铁尾矿砂和活性炭可改善陶粒发泡性能。通过正交试验,综合所有因素,在淤泥84%、铁尾矿砂10%、活性炭6%、烧结温度1 180℃、烧结时间30 min、预烧温度600℃、预烧时间20 min的条件下,制备出了堆积密度为0.423 g/cm~3,吸水率为13.34%的轻质陶粒。通过SEM分析轻质陶粒的孔结构与形貌,发现影响轻质陶粒的主要因素是活性炭掺量、烧结温度和预烧时间,活性炭的加入会在高温下与铁尾矿砂发生氧化还原反应产生气体,气孔变得致密均匀,连通孔增加,降低了堆积密度,改善了吸水率,显著提高了陶粒的性能。
