2007年末,民盟中央在广东湛江召开民盟沿海省市发展海洋经济研讨会,全国政协副主席张梅颖、国家海洋局等机构领导和来自全国沿海十一个省市民盟组织领导、专家学者出席会议,会议就海洋安全、海域管理、海洋运输、海洋资源开发等议题进行了学术研讨和交流。与会专家在海洋安全方面的研究和探讨成为会议的一大亮点。与会者认为,海洋安全以及海洋运输受制约的状况令人担忧,特别是海洋运输通道的安全是直接影响中国经济战略物资的生命线。
At the end of 2007, the Central Committee of the Democratic League of China held a seminar on developing maritime economy in the coastal provinces and municipalities of the Democratic League of China in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province. Leaders of the CPPCC National Committee Zhang Meiying, heads of the State Oceanic Administration and other organizations as well as leaders and experts and scholars from the National Liberal Democrats Meetings and conferences were held to discuss and exchange views on issues such as maritime safety, marine management, marine transportation and marine resources development. Participating experts in the maritime safety research and discussion has become a highlight of the meeting. The participants considered that the situation of maritime safety and the restriction of maritime transport are cause for concern. In particular, the safety of the maritime transport corridors is the lifeline directly affecting China’s strategic economic supplies.
