如今,在21世纪新时代的大背景下,人们基本的温饱问题已经能够得以解决,已开始转向于对更高层次的精神追求。在此基础上,也越来越强调对美的追求。由于现代人比较赶潮流,追时髦,喜欢标新立异的事物。流行自然而然就成为人们口中经常提到的词,尤其是在被大家所熟知的服装领域。而大家对流行的一种追求又进一步刺激了服装领域的发展。就各大高校的服装教学而言,要求能塑造出服装设计的新型顶尖人才,而在进行人才培养当中,不可避免地需要服装行业的支持,在这中间,服装的流行性极为重要,它有利于服装设计中教学水平的提高。
