In a six-year field trial, high doses of inorganic fertilizers were systematically applied to the Semiliminate apple to ensure increased fruit yield and accelerated tree growth. Fruit yield directly depends on the availability of nutrients in the soil, especially the nitrate N protection rate. There was a highly positive correlation between yield and N concentration in leaves, but negative correlation with P and K concentrations in leaves. The optimization of inorganic nutrient effects in fruit trees to absorb fertilizers is the most important factor in the high productivity of contemporary intensive orchards
